I'm really excited about this, I've been eyeing these colorful watches for a while now and now it was on sale for 39,20 (normally 49,00). It was really hard to decide what color to get!

I was on the hunt for more blazers and I got this from Hm, it was only 19,95 €! I would like to have it in blue too!

Wow, it seems like I'm really liking pink today :D I think I might fall in love with that Toni&Guy Tame-It Serum, let me get you back on that later! In addition to these I bought basic beaters and a pair of strapless bras.

This is my yesterdays outfit. After I got out of work, I went out to dance. I love this new top I got from Nelly.com (again), or actually it is a dress but I think it works really well as a dress. My feet are killing me for standing all day at work and then dancing in these heels. I'm gonna do this post mostly in Finnish, just because I felt like it.

So I made some marsmallows yesterday and decided to take pictures of the process. For english speaking readers, here is a recipe of Martha Stewards which also has a video to show you how to do this. I used a different recipe because of the metric system etc.

Mun on pitäny jo pitkään tehdä vaahtokarkkeja ja eilen vihdoinkin sain aikaseks kun sattu olemaan aikaa. Hirmu hauskaa ja helppoa puuhaa. Vaikein vaihe on, kun joutuu odottamaan vähintään 5 tuntia, että pääsee leikkelemään karkit palasiks. Englannin kielisille lukijoille linkkailin tuon Martha Stewardin ohjeen, tähän laitan suomeksi ohjeen jota itse käytin. Suomesta kun ei esimerkiksi meinaa saada vaaleata maissisiirappia.

7 liivatetta

2dl sokeria

1,25 dl vaaleata siirappia

0,7 dl vettä

ripaus suolaa

piparminttuaromia (vaniljaa, kardemummaa, mitä ikinä haluatkaan)

(väriainetta)

Pölysokeria

Keitä sokeria, siirappia, vettä, suolaa ja makuainetta n. 10 minuuttia.

Sinä aikana kun siirappimohmä kiehuu, liota (pehmitä) liivatteet reilussa määrässä kylmää vettä.

Purista liivatteista ylimääränen vesi pois ja kaada siirappimöhmä niiden päälle. Sekoita ja varmista että liivatteet sulaa kunnolla. Sitten ei kun vatkaamaan! Tässä vaiheessa mietit että ei hele, ei tästä kyllä mitään vaahtokarkkia tule, tämmöstä ruskeata litkua vaan.

Nyt sitten vaan vatkataan niin kauan että saadaan vaaleata, paksua ja tahmasta massaa. Siihen menee n. 10 minuuttia. Kärsivällisyyttä!

Whiiiii, nyt on paksua vaahtoa. Tässä vaiheessa vaahtoon voi lisätä väriainetta jos siltä tuntuu. Itse lisäsin punaista ja sekoitin sen verran että vaahtoon jäi kivat raidat :)

Vuoraa joku vuoka leivinpaperilla (voit käyttää myös elmukelmua, mutta mielestäni se on saatanan kätyri) ja kaada massa siihen. Nyt on vaikein vaihe; odottelu! Jätä massa huoneenlämpöön mielellään yön yli, viis tuntiakin saattaa riittää.

Kun massa on jähmettynyt, pääset leikkelemään sitä. Sivele veitseen ruokaöljyä ja leikkele palat sen kokoseks kun haluat. Sitten palat pyöritellään pölysokerissa ja TaDaa, sinulla on ihania kotitekoisia vaahtokarkkeja. Säilyy ilmatiiviissä paikassa noin viikon.

Sorry for being MIA for days now, I've been really busy with work and Neste Oil Rally. Today was my day off and I went to get my Nelly order from the post office. I got these new cute shoes for only 24 euros, they are a brand called Sugarfree Shoes, I also got a dress that I will show you some other day. I've been shopping a lot lately and you'll see all the new things in outfit posts :) Besides clothes, I've been shopping some kitchen stuff like some new tin boxes (i love those things!) and all kind of flours, spices and things needed for cooking and baking. Today I baked Thin Mint cookies, they were really easy to do and taste delicious, I might do some cooking posts soon :)
